Dorothy L. Barton

I knew Dorothy well when I was the rectory secretary for five and a half years. She was a kind and generous person, very active at the Immaculate Conception Church. I remember well when her beloved Burt passed away. I am very saddened to learn of her death, but know that she is right up there in Heaven and is with Burt again. Rest in peace, Dorothy. Dorothy Barton was a wonderful and very bright woman. I worked with her in the 1970's for the federal government. She walked with me along the path of my journey to the priesthood and shared in a special way my ordination day in 1987. The world and the Church has lost a great advocate for good. However, she is now sharing the fullness of her faith with the Lord she loved.
