Thinking of You, Cheryl, and Your Family.

Dear Cheryl & Kerry,

You do not know me,but I was lucky enough to be a close friend of your mother and "the girls" back in our all too brief high-school days. Dotti was the leader of the pack, with an ear to ear grin for everyone. I don't think she ever met a person she didn't like, or, at least try to like.(and the feeling was always mutual)
However, life went on, and we drifted apart until just a few years ago, at a funeral, when we met again for the first time in almost fifty...

Hi Dottie

Well we just had labor day weekend. We spent every weekend on the cape but 2. Every weekend I thought of you and your family. I still find it hard to believe that you are not with us. You are a treasure. I have yet to meet anyone like you. You said I was like having another daughter and you were like having another mother. I know the last few years we did not get to spend as much time as we did in the pass, do to me becoming a mother of 3 boys. I am so glad I got to...

I met Dotti about ten years ago when I started working with Cheryl. She had a wonderful warm, bubbly personality, always ready to make new friends. Dotti was not just our friend Cheryl's mother, but our friend too. We loved her, she will always be part of our lives, memories will live on.

Dear Kerry and Cheryl: I'm so very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I will always remember what a sweet, caring friend she was. I worked with Dottie in Waltham for several years, and was lucky enough to see her and Jimmy at their cape house on occasion. She loved all of you so much, she talked about you constantly. I feel so lucky to have known her.

Dear Kerry & Cheryl, Ray & David, Jillian & Jamie,

At Patty's birthday dinner last month, I held my glass up and made a toast. I said that there are countless things about my mom to celebrate, but one of the things I will forever be most grateful for was the privilege of bearing witness to life's greatest gift...her decades-old friendship with the most extraordinary women I will ever know. "The girls" as they are known by all, have spent their lives being the quintessential example...

I haven't seen or spoken to Dottie in almost 20 years, but I have never forgotten her, or her exquisite, exhuberant personality and loving nature. I worked with Dottie at IBM where I was a Co-Op student, and then an Administrative Assistant. Dottie took me under her wing and taught me so much about work and life. She held a lot of parties and was an amazing hostess as well as a devoted wife, mother, and friend. I will remember her always with deep admiration and true affection. The world...

Dear Cheryl and Ray and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Dotti's passing. I will truly miss my Christmas cards and her updates. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sincerely Julie Gullage

To all the family and friends of Dotti,

I will miss her greatly. She was my assistant at work for the last seven years, a close friend of our family, and an inspiration of how to live and love those who are closest to us. She loved us all, with all our faults.
What was most special about Dotti? Cody said it was that Dotti loved him before she even met him, and that when they did meet, she was like an Aunt, caring and familiar. Dylan said that Dotti was always giving gifts to...
