I had met Dorothy several times while I was in Portland, living across the street from the Heinz family. She was an amazing woman, mother, grand mother, great grand mother and friend. She will be missed, but not forgotten. My sincere condolences.

I met Dorothy while a classmate of her daughter Wendy while in college. From our first meeting I was warmly welcomed and felt a personal connection. She welcomed my mother, husband and sons over the years. My husband and I morn her departure. We have many special memories and send our love to her sons, daughter their partners and grandchildren. We miss her, a fine woman and friend.
