Not sure what to say?

We have so many wonderful memories of Dottie. She was a true and loyal friend, a genuine Southern Lady who had a great love of life and gave so much to so many people. We will always cherish the times we spent with both Dottie and Bill especially our boating days. We should have written a book. You will always be in our thoughts and we will sadly miss you.

My Dear Dottie - Wasn't it just yesterday that you bolted into the office to announce of your upcoming adventure to Italy with the girls....? Your energy -your joie de vivre...How you touched all those who had the good fortune to cross your path...you have no idea. Thank you for always being there and thank you for always asking about Pepe, Joe & Matt. You are so missed and thank you for making this world a little bit better place...Our love and prayers to your family - she spoke about all of...

From the earliest days when Dottie and Joe were "Sophie's Hustlers", we've been the best of friends.

I'm so glad that we had a lot of laughs, played golf, grilled some big steaks and put down those icy cold beers last summer.

We had a great friendship, and the memories will always live on.

We formed a friendship so very sweet, but all too short. She was more than our cousin, she was our mentor as she guided us through every possible complex in the area, as we searched for a place in Palm Desert. And guess what, we ended up in her Desert Falls right across from her. On trips to the desert, Harry looked forward to being one of her tennis buddies and Pat had many wonderful talks and visits, sharing life stories of children, family relationships and travel experiences. She was our...

She was my greatest supporter, I loved her and will miss her.

We first met Dottie in 1999 when she and Bill joined us to sail in the Caribbean in January, Dottie was awonderful sailor and added so much to the holiday. We saw her several times when she came to visit Jane, She was such a vibrant caring individual and will be greatly missed,

My dear friend Dottie, I treasure the friendship we shared for 12 years. I will always remember your wonderful spirit, your love of life, your honest friendship, your humor, sailing abilities (thank you for teaching me), the way you turned on that southern charm when necessary, your laughter, etc. etc. You were a fine tuned masterpiece. We were there for each other through a couple of hard times life dealt us. I will always remember the fun and laughter at the same time missing and loving you.

Dottie was like the sister I never had. We could talk about anything from family problems to politics without rancor, sharing our insights. She was always ready to try new things. Whether we were sailing, skiing, riding the warm waves in South Carolina, snorkeling,or playing Scrabble-- with Dottie, it was always FUN!

Sugar & Spice, Peanut Butter, Trail Mix & Smoothies... that's what my Dottie was made of.
It was only 4 years ago that Dottie & I started our close bond, but is one that I will cherish forever. She was my best friend, confidant, tennis, theater, dinner, Scrabble buddy & supporter of my political consciousness. We laughed a lot & cried sometimes. If we weren't doing something together we spoke about everyday usually after she talked to Bill, Jane & Lolli!
She even gave me another...
