Dear Grandmommy,

I will always love you and cherish the memories that we had together, from our lunches for two at James Coney Island to dinners with the whole family. Even though it is sad that I never got the chance to say goodbye, I rest knowing that you lived an amazing life with great friends and a wonderful family. I am proud to have known you for as long as I did. Just as you would end our bi-weekly phone conversations that we shared over the past few years, "I love you darling..."
