Proctor Funeral Home - Camden Obituary

Dorothy Mae Brickley 91 of Bearden AR passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family & friends on Saturday, October 25th  2025.  She was born February 6, 1934, in Star City, AR to the late Ed & Lila Mae (Owen) Ezell. She retired from General Dynamics after many years of service including ITT and Stromberg Carlson. She was a lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church and has been active in Eagle Mills First Baptist Church for many years.  She was a very hard worker, a sweet lady, loving mother, wife, Mamaw and friend to many whom will miss her dearly. An amazing lady with many strengths and talents cooking, canning, sewing, painting, gardening, fishing, hunting and shopping. She loved attending football games.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jackie; parents, Ed and Lila Ezell; brother & sister-in-law, Marvin & LaVonne Ezell; infant granddaughter; great grandson, Noah Brickley; and great granddaughter, Chloe Brickley.

She is survived by four sons whom she cherished, Tony (Joyce) Brickley of Mayflower AR, Gary Brickley of Bearden, Bret (Tammy) Brickley of Bearden, Troy Brickley of Bearden and daughter-in-law, Linda Lamb of Bearden; three wonderful grandsons, Jeromy Brickley of Bearden, Zach (Celest) Brickley of San Antonio TX, Bryan Brickley of El Dorado AR; one wonderful sissy (granddaughter), Sarah (Clayton) Gadberry of El Dorado; great grandsons, Ethan and Logan Brickley, Rhett Gadberry; great granddaughter, Aly Gadberry; her little church buddy Jesse Kelly (that saved her a sit by him every Sunday) and a host of friends; and bonus grandchildren, Lindsey Yeager, Jack Lamb, Charter Rain, Kinsley Starr & Abby Mays & fur baby Angel.

The Family would like to extend our gratitude to Arbor Hospice for the heartwarming service that was provided to our Mama, Mamaw and Friend.
