AUBURN-Dorothy M. (Stewart) Campbell, formerly of 200 Oxford Street North died Tuesday, August 6 in the St. Francis Home, Worcester.

Her husband, George H. Campbell died in 1967.

She leaves two sons, Robert G. Campbell of Ware and John S. Campbell of Auburn; a daughter, Patricia A. Campbell of Quincy; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Her brother, John A. Stewart pre-deceased her.

She was born in Lynn, the daughter of the late Emery C. and Anne (Watters) Stweart and later lived in Schectady, NY and then Worcester. She has lived here for 60 years. She was a graduate of St. Peter's High School, Worcester.

Mrs. Campbell worked as a secretary in the superintendant of schools office for the Town of Auburn before retiring. Previously, she worked for Servmation in Auburn and Sears Roebuck in Worcester as a secretary.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, its former Catholic Women's League, the Auburn Woman's Club and tge former Rotary Anns. She was a member of the Stoneville Heights Tenants Association where she served as the moderator for two years. She spent many years volunteering a the former St. Joseph's Church Thrift Shop, the Auburn Senior Center and at Hahnemann Hopsital, Worcester.

A gravesdie service will be held on Friday, August 9 at 11 AM in Hillside Cemetery, 73 Central St., Auburn. There are no calling hours.
