Farewell my angelic sister in Christ. You brought the light of Jesus Christ everywhere you went.

I will always remember Sis. Dr. Dorothy Carter sweet smile and demeanor. I remember when she came to 17th Street AOH, when she met and married Bro. Carter, and when they became parents to their lovely children. She was a kind, loving saint, minister and friend. Take your place among the saints of God and I pray to see God, you, and the other saints in the bye and bye.

My condolences to Elder Carter, Marianna and Ethan. Dr. Carter will certainly be missed. I recall us singing in the TV choir together. When I received my minister´s license I felt inadequate. She literally held my hand and encouraged me. I will always remember her kindness. Rest In Heaven WOG! You´ve earn your place.

I´ve known Dorothy almost all of my life. She was a great friend and mentor. Always dressed elegantly and classy. She and Elder Brother Carter were instrumental in my growth when I first got saved. Those memories will always linger in my heart.

The blessings of comfort, strength, peace and love be with you Pastor Carter, Marianna, Ethan and the entire family during this time of sorrow and grief in Jesus name!

I can see you so vividly in my mind at 17th Street. A. O H. Cathedral. You and Dorothy Roby standing side by side singing the Church Happy. Take your rest now. The announcement are being read of your arrival by the angels.

Take your rest Woman of God. For we know to be absent from the body is to be present with Lord. For your labor is not in vain.

May God continue to strengthen your heart in this time of sorrow. Dr. Carter was a jewel.
