Dorothy Chadwick

Sorry to hear about Ms Chadwick's passing. I had the pleasure of having her for two years of math, seeing her at church events and Sunday mornings. You will be missed.

Sorry for your loss. As a 1956 Grad, I remember her quite well. She was my algebra teacher. Our meeting was a very memorable one. At the start of my freshman year some upper class men had several of us freshman playing leapfrog down the hall near her classroom. As we pass her classroom she steps out into the hall. We received a scolding about playing in the halls. As my algebra teacher she laid a very good foundation to my math skills that I used every day as a tool & die maker. Thank you...

I remember Dorothy well from my days as a student at EPCHS--she was both my algebra and my geometry teacher. She was also a familiar face at the annual Thanksgiving lunch at EPCHS for retirees and the end of year ladies' lunch. I enjoyed knowing her as a fellow teacher, although she was retired by the time I began teaching at EP. She had a lovely sense of humor but did not suffer fools gladly:)

I fondly remember her when I took HS Geometry. That was my favorite math course in those years.

I fondly remember Miss Chadwick from my high school days at EPCHS (Graduating Class of 1962 - 50 years ago!). She was a tough but fair teacher and made each student want to excel. My prayers to her family and to a life well lived.
