The daughter of WWII WAVES, I hope that my mother and “Dot” crossed paths, if only for a moment. I read that “Dot” traveled many miles to sign-up. My mother was among those boarding buses to Pittsburgh to serve in WWII, was selected and was stationed in Memphis. Cut of special cloth, they both motivate girls of today and tomorrow. Deepest condolences to families and all blessed to have known “Dot.”
