Not sure what to say?

Some of us are blessed with our mothers presence well into the years that we too grow into senior status. We thank our lord daily for the gift of our mother's love and presence in our lives. As the moment arrives and passes when our mother leaves us to receive the promise of our savor we are challenged to carry on and carry with us in our heart and mind as we do, the loving spirit our mom has always been and continues to be day by day.

Some of my greatest memories growing up are the years I worked for Walt & Dorothy at Gambles and True Value. I am thankful that I got to call them friends and miss them tons. It warms my heart that Dorothy was being read to from the bible at the time of her passing...comforting. Love to the family, all very special to our family!

I light this candle in honor and as a memorial of my Aunt Dorothy, my Dad's, (Vernon L. Waterman) older sister's life. It is so sad to watch our elders leave us, so this candle I have lit will also cast a glow in the darkness for us to follow them into Heaven when the Good Lord calls each of us back Home.
I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother and my sympathy, thoughts and Prayers are with all of you.
With Love, Your Cousin,
Patti Waterman Cress

Our heart and prayers are with your whole family as you face this week with the sadness, but rejoicing in the life that Dorothy had. I know how much Dorothy loved her family and friends thankful she stayed so active for all these years. I'm so thankful I knew her and that she put up with me as we were growing up. I will miss her. She was a great role model in her walk with our Lord. May our BLESS each one of you!

Sadness dims the light in Cedar Springs once again. When I came to the town in 1973 one of the nicest features of the area was the Cronkright Hardware Store. It was like walking into the late 1800's. It was filled floor to ceiling with anything a traveler would need. Dorothy and Walt were right there to serve you.
Their legacy includes children and their wives, grand children and many friends with their memories of Dorothy and Walt. We are sorry for your loss. Dress your best for...

I used to deliver the Grand Rapids Herald news paper to Walt and Dorothy back in the 50's. May God Bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
