I am at Miss Cuba through Sonia Conner at forever young senior center and she taught me how to knit blankets for my grandkids and scarves for my daughter. She taught me how to crochet also rest in peace mom we missed you.

Mrs Cubas was 1 of thee most nicest person I came across in all my years . I was a friend of her son Kenny .I would speak on the phone with Mrs Cubas every couple of weeks , we would always check up on each other and shoot the breeze . My mom past in 2012 and I became even more close to Mrs Cubas , she was even more like a 2nd mom to me after that. Although Dorothy was the aunt of my life long friend, Desi Cubas, I only met her once, at the induction of her late son Larry into the Staten Island Sports Hall of Fame. She was delightful.

You will be missed a lot but all of us. God bless you. You are a wonderful and beautiful person. Yeah, stay sweet rest in peace my friend.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
