Not sure what to say?

I knew Dodie briefly in 1974 when we were roommates (along with others) in a large, old house in Oakland California. She was a sweet, open-hearted person. When I first moved in, I was somewhat shy and tended to stick to myself, but Dodie reached out to me and made me feel welcome. We became good friends for the time I was there. A flash in my mind is riding up to the hills singing "Kodachrome." with Dodie.

I don't know what compelled me to google Dodie yesterday. We lived together in a large house in Oakland California in 1974. I liked her instantly and considered her a true friend during this brief time. She was a sweet, welcoming spirit. I want to wish my condolences to your family. Although it was many years ago, I will always remember Dodie.
