I enjoyed living with your family while Dana was in OCS. Cindy and I ran around UNC campus, Uncle Morris drove us around in the van. Your family was so good to me. I will cherish those times. We have several pieces of pottery Aunt Dorothy made and we enjoy each one.

Morris, I remember very well the first time when I met Dorothy in 1984..She explained everyihing to me how she worked.Her favourites were to make birds decoratios on tiles..She used all sorts of broken wood sticks and pressed them in the wet clay..It was very simple,but the way she dit it was so special.I have never seen this before.I am so happy to have some treasures from her..Specialy one of here oilspots..Morris are you in good health? When I moved to North Carolina Morris and Dorothy were kind and generous to me. The first time I met Dorothy we went out to dinner and she a very little during the meal because she was saving room for dessert. I will always treasure our relationship and the pottery I have that reminds me of her. Love, Helena

It was an honor and joy to have gotten to know Dorothy when she and Morris attended the Eno River UU Fellowship. I was sad when they left the congregation and now I am even sadder to learn of Dorothy's passing. Every Sunday we light the beautiful chalice she made with the inscription "Look to this day." She was truly a beautiful person and an inspiration to me.

My mother had a truly good and happy life. She was blessed in many ways, from a wonderful childhood family to a long marriage to a devoted husband, children and friends who appreciated and loved her. She was extremely fortunate and she made the most of her life, working non-stop on what interested her the most. She was a remarkable person whose prolific work will remain as a testament to her wonderful life and the beauty she brought to the world.
