Not sure what to say?

The Gardner-Webb family was saddened to hear of Dot's passing. We are especially proud of her teaching career and the different she made in the lives of children. We are holding all who love her in our thoughts and prayers.

Steve,Gloria,and Beth,
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
I must share that your mother was my all time favorite teacher. She was an inspiration in my decision to become an educator. She was always nice and made me feel welcomed when I spent time with your family.
You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.

Your mom will be missed by so many. She was a beautiful , Christian lady. Rest assured that she is now where she has longed to be, by her Savior’s side. He has said “Well done my good and faithful servant “

I was Mrs.Hicks neighbor since my parents and I moved beside her when I was 6 years old in 1995. She was always so sweet to my family and I. My dad loved mowing her grass for her and just conversating with her. She made the best mini pecan pies that she would bring to our family every year! She even walked with mel, brought me flowers and checked on me after I had open heart surgery when I was 22. Mrs. Dot is going to be greatly missed!

Jim has some very good memories of Mrs Hicks when he and Steve used to hang out together in high school and GW. Not enough can be said about her outstanding character. A woman full of grace and beauty.

Steve, Gloria, Beth and families, I am sorry for your loss. Ms. Dot was a great Christina lady with a kind gentle heart and great integrity. I know you all will miss her but I'm sure you have great memories to cherish and look back on.
