Dear Elton and Patterson families,
I send sympathy and regards to all of you from the Knudsens. I'm sorry I saw the obituary too late to acknowledge Dorothy's passing more timely. I wish we could have visited with you at the services. We have so many good memories of the Eltons and Pattersons. Best wishes to all of you.

Butch and Families, We were sorry to hear about Dorothy. She was such a sweet lady and was someone that when she ask how you were - she really seemed to care what the answer was. She was rare.

What a remarkable woman to have accomplished so much and to have raised such a fine man as Dr. Patterson. We can only hope to achieve as much or even a part of her life. Thank you for sharing her story. Our thoughts are with you at this time. Life is forever changed. Love Brooke and Denis McKillop

What a delight Dorothy was to be around, we will deeply miss her. She always made us feel welcome even when we saw each other so infrequently. It was great seeing her this past summer at the family reunion. Our prayers are with you.

Butch and family, We are sorry to hear about the passing of Dorothy she touch the lifes of many including our family. She was a caring and thoughful neighbor to our mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with each one of you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dorothy was a wonderful person whom I am very thankful to have known. I know how much she and Butch meant to the many foster kids and foreign exchange students that they took in.

To Butch and family I am very sorry for your loss. Dorothy exemplified what a good person should be like and will be missed by all. She not only took care of her family very well but always had a place and a plate for a lot of stray's me included. She will be missed by all.
