GIEDD, Dorothy - Of Clio, age 84, died Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Funeral service will be held at 12Noon Friday, June 6, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Mary Grimshaw officiating. Burial in Gunnell Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to Genesys Hospice. Visitation 2-8PM Thursday at the funeral home. Dorothy was born in Gladwin County, Michigan on July 9, 1918. Surviving are 2 children, Doris and husband Roscoe Hultz of Clio, Ralph and wife Linda Watkins of Clarksville, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Giedd; 2 daughters, Dorothy Hurd and Delores Hall.
