Dorothy Glidewell

Dorothy was my cousin. (I´m not sure which number) I called her Mom Aunt Zella, but she was really my Mom, Mary Lydia Field Bohman `s cousin. Their Mom´s were sisters. Dorothy and my sister E. Carolynne were close and near in age. Dorothy and Art visited my sister and I at our family cabin at Wolf Lake about 25 years ago. We sent occasional Holliday cards, but miles and life happenings have kept us apart. I am very sad to hear of her passing.

Dorothy was a classmate and neighbor of my husband growing up. They graduated from Kent City High School, class of 1958. We were so surprised to learn of her passing. Several classmates had been meeting monthly except for this winter, and Dorothy was one of them. She would always fill us in on what was going on in her world. We will miss her. We send our sympathy to her family. May she rest in peace.

Our hearts and Prayers go out to their 5 children and families. We have fond memories of Art and Dorothy Glidewell. I attended three churches with them at Bethany Bible, Calvary Baptist and Good News Baptist Churches. We were with Art just days before he passed into Heaven when he wanted to live to his 80th Birthday. Praise God He spent his 80th Birthday in Heaven!
