Not sure what to say?

I have many memories of both Dorothy and Eugene during the years I was blessed to coach Kathy at both West Catholic and Aquinas College. While Eugene would be out in the hall praying the rosary during close games, Dorothy, while an enthusiastic and loyal fan, always had a calmer perspective. She was always a steadying and constant presence. Her faith and dedication to her family was reflected in the values she passed on to her children. Kathy was always such a hard worker, respectful,...

Kathy and family, So sorry to hear of the passing of your mama. Amy and Walt Gutowski

On behalf of the Jewell family, we are so sorry for your loss. Many great childhood memories on Gaynor St. with your mom and your family. With sincere condolences~ Greg, Bill, Carol, Mike and Chris

Aunt Dorothy was part of so many fond childhood memories, especially summer vacations at Diamond Lake. Rope swings, bonfires and roasting marshmallows, playing "Spoons", catching frogs, fishing in row boats... then Dorothy, Marcia and Esther frying up all that fish at the end of the week! Those were the best of times! May God welcome Dorothy into His heavenly kingdom, and may her family feel the comfort of our Lord's presence. Rest in peace. With love and sympathy, The Vierheilig...

My sincere condolences to Barb, Kathy and Philip. I have many fond memories growing up on Gaynor Street. May you find comfort and peace in the loving memories you have of you mom. Sending hugs.

We are sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Dorthy (Dort, aka The Prez) and my Mom, Henrietta (Hank) were lifelong friends. So many cherished memories and I always got to hear about The Clubski (Sister Maria Goretti Group). Hank and Dort's friendship spanned many decades and now they are most likely having their first club meeting in Heaven. Sending love and may peace be with you as her family during this time.

Dorothy was the best of the best. I can still see her clearly in my mind´s eye as she toasted my brother and her daughter on their wedding day. The wedding party all crowded into their living room before the reception as she appeared with a try with bread, salt and maybe a bit of wine. She explained their meaning and shared many wise words for the new married couple. Her wisdom and gentle heart will be missed.

I always looked forward to Christmas evening at Uncle Gene and Aunt Dorothy´s. Whether we played the dice game or bingo, the group always rooted for Aunt Dorothy to win. I will certainly cherish the laughter and memories. I know my dad cared dearly for his godmother and was extremely thankful for all she did for him. Aunt Dorothy will surely be missed. God Bless her. Love, Holly
