HARLOW, Dorothy "Dot," Wilkinson, 79, of Richmond, widow of Ira W. Harlow, entered into rest Tuesday, March 17, 2009. She is survived by her sister, Nancy F. Frame and husband, Richard, of Richmond; three brothers, Joseph Wilkerson of Cumberland, Edward Wilkinson and wife, Audrey, of Lancing, Tenn., and John Wilkinson and wife, Irene, of Victoria, Va.; two special nieces, Linda Dunn and Genia Tench, both of Richmond; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Harlow retired from Wachovia Bank with over 43 years of service. The family would like to give special thanks for the care and devotion given by the staff of St. Mary's Hospital. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 West Broad St., where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21, with entombment to follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, family asks for memorial contributions be made to Bon Secours Hospice Program, 8580 Magellan Pkwy, Building IV, Richmond, Va. 23227.

We just learned of Dot's death and are so saddened. She was our next door neighbor for almost 6 years and she was such a wonderful neighbor and friend.
