Devoted Mother & Grandmother 
Dorothy E. Henry, 88, Died Tuesday June 24th, 2025, at her Waterbury home with her family by her side. 
Dorothy was born August 8th, 1936, in Middlebury CT. 
A daughter of late Celia (Pratt) Morey and Chester Morey, 
Dorothy loved to travel, she was an active member of her Church for over 50 years and a Teacher to the Girls Ministry Daisy group. Dorothy was a role model in our family providing daily examples of strength, wisdom, and kindness. 
Dororthy was predeceased by her 7 siblings, her Son Gary Henry, Her Granddaughter Tara J. Henry and Her Grandson Shaun M. Lopez
She is survived by her sons & daughters, Dale Henry, Ronald Henry, Roland Henry, Gordon Henry, Ruth Henry- Blash, Wanda Grim, Louella Henry-Santiago, Dorothy Rosario, Tracie Eaton, Sue Carroll. She is also survived by 5 generations of Grandchildren who she adored so much. 
Although she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will continue to live in the strength and determination of everyone who is lucky enough to call her family or those who walked in her path. 
Grandma Dot’s life was a blessing to her family and community. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Rest Well.


A Funeral Service will held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at the House of Prayer Church, 1245 Thomaston Ave Waterbury, from 11a.m. - 1p.m. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury. A Celebration of life will be held from 2-5p.m. at the House of Prayer.
