Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to the Hill Family for the loss of your loved one, Dorothy, and pray God gives you comfort, peace and strength.

It's tremendous reading about Dorothy Hill, a woman who clearly left no stone unturned in her remarkable life. To our dear neighbors, the Kotzkys, Diane and I send our deepest sympathies to you and your entire family on the loss of your matriarch. When we can gather again, we will look forward to celebrating your mom's life, and we will honor her memory by working with the Long Island League of Women Voters on the 2020 election.

I had the pleasure to work for the Hill family from July 1987 until she retired from Hill-Donnelly. Mrs Hill was such a remarkable, kind, compassionate and a truly wonderful person. She taught me so much in the years I worked with her and always treated everyone with such respect. I know this world was made a better place for her contributions. While she is now at peace with her heavenly family she has left a piece of her in all who had the privilege to know her. God Bless her, and her family...

No wonder het son, Lee has enjoyed such succesd in his life. He had remarkable examples.

She was a truly great woman who obviously contributed a great deal to the world around her. To me though, she was the epitome of warmth, love and understanding. She was a Mom to me when I truly needed a Mom. Thank you Amy, Helen, Jonathan and Lee for sharing her with me; and thank you for being in many ways my sisters and brothers.

She was a Mom when I really needed a Mom. Thank you Amy, Helen, Jonathan and Lee for sharing her; and thank you for being my second set of sisters and brothers.

A lady I unfortunately never met but did have the pleasure of speaking to on the phone a few times. Always treated me like an old pal when we spoke. Dorothy proves that someone does not need to be in the public eye to effect others by being ahead of her time. RIP. Warm wishes and good thoughts to all of your family and to especially to my friend of almost 40 years, Amy.

Mom, you were amazing in every way. I'm so grateful that you were my mother. I will miss you every day for the rest of my life. -Your daughter, Amy
