Mother, another year has passed and I still miss you so much. I often think of the times we would sit down and laughed until tears would come...and I think of the sad times which would also bring tears. Today is your 106th birthday and I know if you were here, we would have a sip of Champaign and a couple of laughs together. Mother I know you are with us all the time and there are so many times I feel your strength holding me up so I can bear this burden and find the strength to keep our...

Mom, I love you and miss you so much. Here is a beautiful poem I thought you might like for me to post for the family. Love #3 Linda
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning,...

Granny, I'm gonna miss our gin rummy games and your fried pork chops and corn bread, that Jodie and I enjoyed so much. I am glad you are in a better place where there is no suffering. You will be truly missed.

Mom, my dearest mother, we miss you so very much! It has been 7 days since you slipped quietly away. This is bitter sweet. You were so ill for the past 5 years, unable to speak, walk or eat. All of that has now passed. You are in our father's house now, everlasting peace, light and paradise. Rest mom, rest. We love you sooooooo much!!!!!!!!!! Debbie Ann, Sandy, LaWanda and Dr. Linda.
