I met Dorothy in an elevator at a NAME convention. She had Alaska on her nametag and since I had been born there, we started chatting. We kept in touch for years and I have one of her lovely Alaskan dolls : a doll maker since I am one too. I love it. Fond memories. Dorothy is missed by the Miniatures world.

It is Valentine's day. I think about you all the time and I miss you. Love ya mom!

Remembering many good times Dorothy and I shared at conferences!

So very sad to read that Dorothy passed. I tried to keep in contact and also called her when she lived in Alaska. I received a little baby doll from her, but she did not want the framed head I had promised to send in exchange and that she loved. I wish you support in this difficult time of leaving her go. I met her at Niada and I was always sad that she lived so far away. She will remain in my memory in her baby-doll.

She was my mom and I will miss her greatly.
