Our thoughts and sympathy to Dorothy´s family . Enjoyed my visits with her at UMW mtgs, and the nursing home. Often talked about raising flowers and their care . She gave me hints about violets.

What a grand and independent lady!! As a physical therapist I had the honor or working with Dorothy on a few occasions and my most favorite memory of her is her coming in for a therapy appt one afternoon and telling me she had just finished up a scam phone call from someone saying her grandson Michael was in a Mexican jail and she needed to forward money for him to be released..and her reply was " let me talk to him, I need to hear his voice"..they did not comply so she hung up on them...God...
