I was not a student interested in learning, but learn I did! Although I learned from all my teachers at Morrisville High School, Mrs. Keller was one of the best teachers there and I learned the most from her. It was only after graduating (in 1961) that I fully realized how important her teaching was to me. She was a pretty woman. I will never forget the jingle/jangle of her bracelets!! She lived a very full and long life. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Rest in Peace Mrs....

Growing up next door to Dorothy Keller was a joy. She let me take care of Heidi and Pat when she and George were traveling. She was also a fantastic English teacher. I teach English at a community college because she, like the others in her department, was such a wonderful teacher.

Thinking of family and friends grieving this loss, and for those of us who had the privilege to learn in her classroom. I have had the joy and lasting memories of outstanding teachers from kindergarten through college. Mrs. Keller sweetened my list of the top 10! Already a voracious reader, I am so thankful for the mastery she brought in the study of literature. I was transformed by it.
