I worked with Dotty 45 years ago at the Welfare Department, when I was a newly minted Social Worker, and I still remember her smiling face, gracious nature, and helpful attitude.

Bruce,
Many prayers going out to you during this difficult time. Your postal family certainly can never replace a mom, but you can be sure that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Celeste, I remember talking to your mother many times about her cats, and the Red Sox. She talked of her days going dancing and how she could dance the oberek which was a difficult dance to do. When she talked about her kids it was with pride and protection. She was so energetic and sharp you could not believe she was in her 90's.
If I know Dotty she is checking up on you guys, even as I write this.
My prayers are with you

This is my mom, the legendary Dotty Kopec. To the last she was thinking if everyone but herself. Planning to make cookies for a neighbor as a surprise. Her leaving was unexpected, but a blessing for it was peaceful and quick. Her body may have been failing bit her mind was as sharp as ever.I know where she is m she is dancing the oberek, laughing and talking.
