LATESKY, Dorothy Ruth – Of Flint, age 92, died Monday, November 29, 2021 at Hurley Medical Center.


Funeral service will be held at 3:30 P.M. Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Michael Breznau officiating.


Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2021.


Visitation 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and 12 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.


Dorothy was born in Flint, Michigan on June 22, 1929, the daughter of the late Conrad and Molly (Kuehling) Fries.


She married Jack Latesky on June 18, 1949.


Mrs. Latesky was a current member of Mayfair Bible Church and former member of Peace Presbyterian.


Surviving are four children, Daniel (Angela), Jean (Ron) Griffin, Deborah (Jim) Tabaszewski and Dennis (Betsy);


16 grandchildren;


many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;


sister, Arlene Daidone; brother, Don (Charlotte) Fries;


brother-in-law, Robert (Cynthia);


special nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, on September 24, 2014 and her brothers.
