Dorothy Alfreda Martz (nee Canavan) of Brooklawn, NJ, passed peacefully on November 16, 2017 after a lengthy illness.

She was predeceased by her parents, Esther and William Canavan. She is survived by her husband of over 51 years, Raymond Martz of Brooklawn. Also survived by her two sons, Steven and wife Heather of Hamilton, NJ and Gary and wife Tarrin of Wenonah, NJ. She was the beloved Mommom and Gigi to her five grandchildren that she absolutely adored: Katherine, Emily, Aidan, Heidi and Adam. Loving cousin of Esther Markovic. Dorothy is also survived by her closest friends from the GHS Class of 1961 Co-Ettes, Janet Bevan, Donna Henefer, Fran Stief, Diana Graham and Janice Holl, who still meet on a regular basis.  Dorothy enjoyed sewing, reading, driving a school bus for many years and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by family and friends.

 
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday evening, Nov. 20th, from 6 to 8 PM and again on Tuesday morning, Nov. 21st, from 9 to 10 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral service 10 AM in the funeral home. Interment private at a later date in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.

Dear Ray, Steven, Gary and family,
Our Dottie is now at peace with the Good Lord above and has been added as one of his beautiful Angels .
