Dorothy May

Dorothy made the best chicken soup from the carcass of a rotisserie chicken. Mention you had the sniffles, and she would deliver her awesome soup. Best neighbor!

We shared so many adventures together through the years. Both of us had Michigan connections. Miss our golfing adventures together and all the times we spent together --lunches, in the pool at their condo--so many happy hours shared. Much love to her family. Annette Bandy

The League of Women Voters of Wake County offers our deepest sympathies to Dorothy's family. Dorothy was a long-time member of our League several years ago. Members remember Dorothy as active member, providing valuable input on many League issues. Thank you Dorothy for your years of service in our organization!

Dorothy was our back door neighbor in Stafford for many years. Always a smile, never down. She had a story for every day in the week and we never heard the same one twice.
You have to love someone who hosts her own birthday parties!

Dorothy was one of a kind. Dick, Paul, Philip, all the grandchildren and her many friends are blessed to have been a part of her life.

Dorothy was such a wonderful person and we loved having she and Dick be part of our Wil-Mar Golf Club family for years. I still make her tomato sauce recipe every summer! She will be missed by many.
