Woodfin Funeral Chapel - Murfreesboro Obituary

Dorothy Robertson McCormick age 86 of Murfreesboro, passed away Sunday July 26, 2015. A native of Henderson, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Cleopatra Fowler Robertson.


Mrs. McCormick is survived by her husband of 66 years, Louis Calvin McCormick, sons; Scott McCormick of Lebanon, Zan McCormick of Murfreesboro, daughters; Joanna Elliott and her husband Ron of Murfreesboro, Amy Gannon and her husband Jack of Auburntown, seven grandchildren; Ashlee Judkins, Jennifer Jackson, Calvin McCormick, Blake McCormick, Seth Elliott, Kinsey Elliott, Sydney Elliott and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister; Marjorie Mattox and her brother; Rick Robertson and his wife Cindy all of Henderson, Kentucky.


Mrs. McCormick was a member of Central Christian Church and retired as an Administrative Assistant from the M.T.S.U School of Music.

The family wishes that memorials may be made to M.T.S.U. School of Music, Central Christian Church or to The Alzheimer?s Association.


Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 noon until time of Memorial service at 2:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Charles Highfield officiating.
