The Matriarch of our family, my Aunt Dot, was a testament to elegance and grace. I will cherish the memories of sailing in 'The Cruller' with her and the hours of rich conversation we shared. She inspired in me as an adult to be patient with the world, seek culture in my travels and to be appreciative of the great gifts life offers! Rest in peace my Dear Aunt Dot.

Dorothy McDonald was my next-door neighbor when I was growing up. She always carried herself with grace and good cheer, and she very generously shared her swimming pool with my 12 siblings and me any time we wanted to use it. As a child, I was very aware Dorothy was raising two fine children but quite unaware of the interesting adventures she was having. I had the pleasure of meeting Dorothy through working with her daughter, Margaret, in Reno. I remember her lovely smile and presence. After reading more about Dorothy's life, I am more honored that I had the chance to meet someone who really loved life!!
