Dorothy Vincent "Dottie" McKean

It is difficult for me to say, as people often do, that a part of me has died with you, because you cared for me from my birth, and I wouldn't know where to begin separating us two. You showed our family such incredible love, and we always considered you a part of the family. My one consolation is that your "tired old bones", as you would put it, have finally stopped aching, and yet we still miss you and will remember you forever. I love you.

Dottie was the most giving person I ever met. She loved our family, and we loved her just as much. Her kindness and love inspired me to be a better person, and her guidance made my brother and I the people that we are today. Dottie will be forever missed, but her spirit lives on in all those whose lives she changed and made brighter. I love you Dottie.

She will be missed. Hopefully she is free of pain and with her love ones she hadn't seen for so long.
