Dorothy P. Mercer

Dorothy, or Dot as we knew her on Townley, was such a kind, lovely and smart human being. We loved Clarence as well. There was nothing like Dot's laughter and smile. Our kids Jamal and Naseem remember her with joy. Our sincere condolences and love to her family and friends and especially Mike.

Although small in size, Dorothy was large in stature and impact. She was soft-spoken yet a valued community leader. In addition to a 35-year professional career as an educator in the Cleveland Public Schools and consultant at Cleveland State University, Dorothy´s community service was extensive.
