Dorothy Marie Meyer

Mrs. Meyer was not only my Kindergarten teacher, she also was my Mom's Kindergarten teacher. We both think of her fondly. Sorry for your loss.

Dorothy was a friend and fellow teacher to my mother Margaret Bruce, at Sharp Park School. I have fond memories of the Meyer family: Cal, Dorothy and Lee. As I remember, Cal and Dorothy were very good ballroom dancers! Another star shines in the sky upon us!

I offer my condolences for your loss and hope that you both can take some comfort in remembering the many children that got their start attending Dorothy's kindergarten classes over the many years that she taught in Jackson.
She was my first teacher in 1961 at Sharp Park as well as a good friend to our family over the years,she will be missed.
