I am saddened to hear of
Dodie's passing. I was her supervisor for many years at the County of San Diego Coroner's Office. One of her duties included the difficult job of returning a decedent's property to grieving relatives. An almost daily task that required compassion and tactful communication. Her attention to detail regarding accounting, purchasing, and other bureaucratic paperwork saved my backside on many occasions. She was a skillful and very dedicated employee and I felt lucky...
