My heart was so heavy when my mom (Donna Johnson) told me Mrs. Moultry had passed away. I have thought about her often throughout the years and what always used to come to mind were her cakes! Lord... NOBODY could bake like Dot Moultry! But the thing is, it wasn't about her baking skills, it about her thoughtfulness! Mrs. Moultry hardly EVER let a birthday or a holiday pass without letting me, my mom or my sisters know that she remembered, thought and cared...
