Though short in stature, Dottie was such a giant fixture at Rocky River's Senior Center. She was involved on the Council, in the gift shop, in the kitchen, in Play Readers... always ready to volunteer. She greeted the Center's visitors with a smile. Her great laugh will continue to echo through the Center. She was a special friend who will be greatly missed.

A lovely person inside and out, Dottie was a 'treasure.'

I will be forever greatful to this wonderful lady who saw something in me. She hired me right out of high school and became my role model. I will miss her greatly.

Dottie hired me many years ago at PBT and have been very good friends and coworkers since. She will be missed.

I enjoyed working with Dottie at Prescott, Ball and Turben. She was smart and always kind. She always called me Sunshine, I never thought of myself that way, but Dottie did. I last saw her at Christmas time several years ago when I stopped by her apartment and helped her decorate a small tree that she had on a table. She was having trouble hanging the ornaments due to arthritis in her hands and I hung the ornaments on the tree for her. Dottie was a special person and she will be missed.

I was Dorothy's neighbor on the 6th floor of the Saxon House for many years. I remember when she was President of our board for many, many years and did a tremendous job. Sometimes when I opened my door to the hall, she would be standing there waiting for the elevator and always had a smile on her face. She was always to positive and cheerful.
