Dorothy Jean Ollom, 83, of Ottawa, died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 11, at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa, with Rev. Michael Ollom, her grandson, officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home.

Dorothy was born on May 29, 1929, in Ottawa, to David and Mabel (Beguin) Morgan. She was a seamstress for 25 years. She married Walter ?Gene? Ollom on November 22, 1947 in Ottawa. He died on June 22, 1976. She was a big supporter of Ottawa youth sports, and avid bowler and golfer, and a big fan of the Bulls, Bears and White Sox.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Jones of Marseilles; two sons, Bob Ollom of Marseilles and Tim (Nancy) Ollom of Palm Desert, CA; six grandchildren, Brandon and Adam Mumaugh, Michael, Kevin, David (Michelle) Ollom, and Bobbie Jean Ollom; five great grandchildren, Olivia, Coral, Michael, Evan and Isabella; two half brothers, Harold (Inez) Husted of Jacksonville, FL and David Morgan Jr. of Arizona and three half sisters, Sharon Stuepfurt, Sandra (Jerry) McIntosh and Joan (Jack) Blythe, all of Ottawa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gene, and a son-in-law Bobby Jones.

Pallbearers will be Brandon and Adam Mumaugh, Michael, David and Kevin Ollom and Tom Ott.

Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated later.
