Not sure what to say?

Well, we´ve made it through another year! I´m dropping in to say you´re still not forgotten and neither is all the work and love you dedicated to all of your kids as we grew up. We love ya, ma. I´m thinking that this aging thing ain´t for woosies! LOL.

Well, another year has passed, and we still remember all you did for us as kids and young adults and the sacrifices you made to make sure we grew up loved and healthy.

Now, we’re hurtling quickly toward our own times in the turf. I hope when people look at us, we can draw some of the respect and love you earned before you left for heaven.

Howdy all. Just remembering all of the McCoys who have passed before us and all the good memories they gave us all. Have a good one, ma, Aunt Jo, Uncle Jim! I´m

Howdy Ma! Here we are in 2022, 18 years after your passing. All of your kids are close to or well past 70 and doing OK. You have a few more grand kids, and your brother and sister and their spouses have since passed on to accompany you in heaven. Our world keeps starting and jolting through crises and many of us do take time to offer gratitude for our amazing lives and families. God bless you, mom. Love, your kids.

It’s hard to believe so many years have passed since mom passed away. Time flies. I hope she is at peace, happy and contented where she is now. God Bless you mom.

Hi Mom! We still miss you but know you're having a great time with all of your friends you met through your life.If you see Uncle Jim tell him we send our love!

To mom, nearly 10 years after your passing. We'll always remember and love you for your heart, determination, love and kindness. Love ya mom.

Dorothy McCoy Olsen portrait by Jane Bowers.

I am adding a beautiful portrait of mom done by her good friend Jane Bowers, also formerly of Longview. This portrait was carried by Uncle Jimmie (James B. McCoy) through World War II and later beautifully framed by my cousin John Henry McCoy.
