Not sure what to say?

I am a 1985 graduate of PCHS and that's because of Mrs. Parlatore. She stood by my side and never gave up on me. Thirty years later, I still use the principles she instilled in me. You are my hero and always have been, RIP Mrs. Parlatore.

I was one of the lucky ones to have Dorothy Parlatore as a teacher. Not only did she prepare us for the future but she taught us about the real world. I still remember standing up and walking around the room taking shorthand! All teachers should take a few lessons from her – she was professional at all times and always a wonderful lady.
My thoughts and prayers are with Charlie and her children.

Dot was a wonderful addition to our aqua jog classes at the Rye Y"
She was a real lady, and an inspiration to all of us!
I didn't have her as a teacher but she was a colleague of mine in the Port Chester School System! God bless her.

RIP Mrs. Parlatore! Thank you for believing in your student to achieve the best! Because of you…I can type at 80-85 wpm :). A great teacher that cared about her students.

Condolence to the family.

I had Miss Parlatore in High School and took typing from her (1969 grad) I still think about her to this day and how she is the reason I can type 80 words a minute. She was tough, but that's what we needed. She had her little tricks to help us memorize where the letters were. My deepest condolences to the family

RIP Mrs. Paltore

RIP Mrs. Parlatore. You were a great secretarial teacher!

RIP Mrs. Parlatore, when I think of High School I always remember the fun we had in your class. Rest with the angels..Joan Ribuffo Bellantont

Thank you for being hard on me. For comparing me with my sister (the steno wiz). For never giving up on me and pushing me to my limit. May you rest in peace.
