Not sure what to say?

Dorothy was my older sister, someone I always tried to live up to. She sang in the county chorus in Salem, New Jersey, where we grew up. I was never good enough to get in. She went off to Cornell University right after graduating from Penn's Grove High School. She is blessed with her daughter Margie.

She was the most wonderful kind , giving , compassionate understanding person who's mission in life was to serve others and I am very proud and fortunate to be able to call her Mom. Thank you for all your life lessons and never giving up on me.
Your loving son Jody .

Dorothy enriched my life. Super capable, she was extremely modest. We met her fifteen years ago, at her age of 79. She was so modest, if addressed as Dr., she would just respond "Oh, that was so long ago."

She was an excellent alto. I loved sitting next to her in the choir because she always on the right note! We met when we all joined Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church together when she moved to live with Margie and Mark.

It is a comfort to read the love expressed by...

The memory of Grandma Dorothy and her inspiring life will remain with us always. She was truly a smart, special lady and we will miss her wit and wisdom.

Dorothy was an inspiration, a role model and loved by many. To me, she was Grandma. And she will be deeply missed. I will love you always. Kimberly

I had the opportunity to meet Dr Dorothy over the last 3 years at Salemhaven while visiting my mom. Dorothy always had a smile for any one who spoke to her. I could tell she was a special lady.

I remember Dr. Parks practicing medicine in Northfield for years. I was in school with Marjorie and want to say how sorry I am for your loss, everyone's loss.

Marjorie & Family,
Im SO sorry to read of your loss. Although I never had your Mom as my doctor, I remember her from when you all lived on South Main St. in Northfield, and when we were in school. And I remember Tod & Jody (& their Dad), when they were little. Keeping you all in my prayers. Sandie (Partlow) Davis, NHS Class of 67.
