You are in my very close thoughts today grandma. Andy and I just returned from a camping trip with the kids. It made me think of the many memories that we have shared on our many family camping trips together. You made the cold mornings always warmer with a mug of cocoa and laughter. What I remember about life with my Mom.

I remember Mom telling us about when she was first married. She cooked a pot of beans and forgot about them while hanging out diapers on the line. The beans burnt and the pot scorched. She buried the beans-pot and all in the yard. She never told my Dad.
I remember when mom bought her first Hi-fi stereo and listened to Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass and Sergeant Barry Sadler and...

Dorthy was always quite and kind she will be missed.
