Not sure what to say?

I'm one of Dorothy's biggest fans. I can't tell you how much she will be missed. I don't own one of her paintings and I really need to know
how to get something. I live in Gastonia nc -Roy Johnson frames all of my prints and they should me a print they have of Dorothy's in their kitchen. I would love to purchase something. my e-mail is [email protected]. Please help me buy one or more. Thank you so much!! Mary Locke Bigger

Dear James, Raymond and Randy and Your families,

as you celebrate Dorothy's life and say a last Goodbye. Though Dorothy is no longer with us she will always remain in our hearts!!! We have so many memories and they are so precious at this time.
May God comfort you in your time of sorrow.

Dorothy,
You will be missed by our family. I always remember when John Shoemaker Jr. was in the hospital and you were drawing or sketching. Those children were being naughty. They started watching you and ask you what you were doing? You told them to draw what they see. I've always admired your gift for art. James Raymond Sr. has a very empty place in his heart for you.
Love Aunt Joan

My Dearest Dorothy,
I do not know how to put into words how much I miss you. I loved your laugh, your sweet smile, your jokes, your delicious recipes, which I can never make quite like you, your creative and colorful paintings, your sense of style, your love of the color purple, your amazing intellect, your caring and generous personality, your passion for gardening and for growing flowers, your deep love of your family, your uplifting advice, your warm embraces, your teaching spirit, and...

To James and Family,
I was so saddened to hear about Dorothy. I took an art class from her many years ago and we have remained friends from a distance ever since. She called ever so often to catch up. I had no idea she was so sick. I am so sorry that I had not been in touch recently. She always inspired me and I was in awe of her beautiful work. She was a treasure to the arts community and will be sorely missed. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I will...

Dorothy was a valued member of our family and will be greatly miissed. She will forever be in our hearts.

Dorothy and I started out in this world 2 weeks apart and grew up together, seeing each other as often as possible. Kitty and my mother, Mozelle, were 1st cousins, and close, so we saw each other frequently. A favorite memory was spending the weekend at "Kitty and Alberts" and sleeping on pallets on the floor. We always had a fun time. I was always a little jealous of her artistic abilities, which were so much better than mine. We lost touch with each other in the last few years and I was so...

To James and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Dorothy was a wonderful woman who dearly cared for her family. We kept all of you in our prayers and will continue to do so. May God's peace be with you all during this time of sorrow.

I met Dorothy when i worked at Look Real Estste, Verlene had alot of her paintings, one year for Christmas we had no idea on what to get Verlene, since she had everything, so i called Dorothy, and told her Verlene had totally remodeled the outside of her home, and i had a picture of it, she did a water color painting of her newly designed house, and she did a picture for us, and we had it framed, Verlene thought that was the most awesome gift. Dorothy was a wonderful person, and my prayer's...
