SIMPSON, Mrs. Dorothy C.-age 81, of Flint, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at her residence. A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm -8:00 pm Friday, October 17, 2014 at Serenity Funeral Chapel G-2340 W. Carpenter Rd. Flint, MI 48505.

Dorothy C. Simpson was born April 13, 1936 in Natchez, MS the daughter of Ardell Buckles. Mrs. Simpson resided in New Orleans as well as Flint, MI. She previously worked as a caretaker.

Mrs. Dorothy Simpson leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Earl Simpson (deceased); 3 children, Marilyn Williams, Kitty Howard-Gist, Kenneth Simpson; 10 grandchildren, Kasir Simpson, Ranisha Sneed (deceased), Kendra Howard, Sabrina Sneed, Latrice Howard, Samantha Williams, James Howard III, Sophia Sneed, Ferrold Williams II, Brett Buckles, Seth Sneed; sister, Edna Buckles (deceased); brother, David Buckles (deceased); a host of other relatives and friends, including very good friends; Ms. Queenie, Ms. Susan, Ms Mary and Ms. Glenda along with many others.
