Not sure what to say?

Robbie,Sue and families,
Though hundreds of miles separated our families, Dorothy was still the 'matriarch' of our family. She had great stories about growing up in Sioux City during the depression and gave us insight into the character of our grandfather who died at a young age. She still called her brother (our dad) his childhood nickname'Bus'which was short for his real nickname 'Buster'. Her laugh was contagious and came easily. She added to every life she touched. Prayers and best...

A flood of memories came back to me as I saw the notice of your Mom's passing. I remember many good times at your home near Lowrie School and the friendliness and good nature of both your parents every time I visited. It seems like yesterday. My thoughts go to you and your family.

Sue and family--Sorry to hear about your Mom.Try to stay focused on all the good memories and all the people she touched. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

When I first came to Elgin in 1965, I adopted Dorothy as a "second Mom" when she was a helper in the library at Larkin High School. She will always have a special place in my memories. With prayerful thoughts for her family, Becky Olson

Dear Robbie and Sue and families,
My sympathy goes out to you at this time of Aunt Dorothy's passing. She was such a special lady! I'm so grateful that I got to see her when Sue brought her to Sioux City to visit a few years ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Robbie, Sue and Guy,
I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. Dorothy will be missed. Though I have not seen Dorothy since my moms death (Nancy Everett), my dad has kept me up on how she was doing. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Chip Everett

Dear Robbie and Sue:

I'm very sorry and sad to hear about Aunt Dorothy. Unfortunately, I haven't seen her since my mom (your aunt Nancy) died. Dick has been keeping me posted on how she was doing. Your families are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Mark Everett

Dear Sue , Robbie, and families,

We were so sad to hear about your mom. We always enjoyed our visits with her when she and my mom (Ruth Wagner) were neighbors on Pioneer Park Place, and she had kept in touch with us for many years after mom died in 1999. I know she will be sadly missed by all of you. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you now.

God's Blessings,
Dick and Sherri Baumann
