Not sure what to say?

I met Dot when our girls did swim team together in Monmouth NJ. We were military newcomers to the area and Dot embraced us like family. She was never without a smile, a kind word or a helping hand. My daughters were always welcome at her beautiful home and instantly made to feel part of her family. I have so many happy memories of our time together during swim meets. It´s has been many years, but Dotty´s beautiful smile has stayed vibrant in my memory. There was nothing she loved more than...

Dot was like another big sister. So many memories-her smile, her laugh, her cole slaw!! My mother insisted the post prom gathering at our Jersey Shore cottage be chaperoned. Dot and my sister Horse agreed and led the conga line all night long! She will be missed. Heartfelt condolences to you Harlan, Jill and Holly. Love, Jean "Bean" Harris

Loved Dot since I met her in High School! Loved our cheerleading days & our high school days. Cherished our friendship and our "Super 8" trips over the years. Loved our pool parties at her house in Middletown with our families. So happy we got to spend time with Dot in Spokane in June. She so loved her family and was...

What a beautiful tribute to Dot. Thank you for describing her life in the most loving and poignant way. I knew her since third grade. Our fathers were active members of the Carteret Knights of Columbus and, even thought we attended different schools, we became friends through picnics and other events they hosted. I loved that girl! Fortunately, we never lost touch over the years despite the miles that separated us. I will miss my friend very much.
