Dorothy Jane Webb Thornton, age 77, passed away on October 25, 2020 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born on December 4, 1942 in Covington Kentucky to the late, Robert M.f. Webb and Mary Lucille Brown Webb.
She was a Homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and working in her flower beds and garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by;
Husband: Clifford E. Thornton
Daughter: Victoria S. Thornton Fitzgerald
Sisters and Brother In-laws: Roberta L. Webb Barnes (William), Anna G. Webb McLafferty (Charlie), Patsy J. Webb, Eleanor L. Webb Rice (Robert) and Charles Rich.
Her Surviving family Includes;
Son and Daughter in Law: Glenn S. Thornton (Cyndi)
Daughter and Son in-law: Beverly G. Thornton Paul Moore (Darrel)
Grandchildren: Jacob A. Fitzgerald, Bradley S. Thornton (Lydia), Christopher R. Thornton (Nancy) and Bryan E. Paul
Great Grandchildren: Lillian V. Fitzgerald, Christian S. Fitzgerald and Alexander R. Thornton
Sister and sister In-law: Irma F. Webb Rich and Virginia Thornton Howard
She also leaves behind many loved nieces, nephews, lifelong friends and special neighbors and all were very dear to her heart.
The family has chosen Cremation, and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
