Not sure what to say?

I hold the memory and spirit of Dorothy Elizabeth in my heart always. You are in every dance that I do. I think of that feeling I had inside when I watched you perform. I couldn't take my eyes off your fine and expressive hands, the beauty of your presence and gestures and I always strive to have these qualities when I dance. Thank you for your generous guidance!

I still miss dancing with you, Dorothy Elizabeth, and miss our long conversations when I drove you to and from rehearsals and we spent hours parked in front of your home in Medford talking and talking. Your spirit lives on.

Dorothy was a dancing, generous, inspired spirit. She established a legacy of the arts as central to human development though her leadership in the Community Clinical Nursey Schools of the Department of Mental Health, in the late 60s and 70s. It was a privilege to work for her.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Dorothy's passing. She hired me in 1971 as a Community Clinical Nursery School teacher and was my principal during my time teaching. She was the person who opened so many doors, related to best teaching practices, humanism and the arts, particularly dance. She had deep insight about being human. I will be forever grateful to have known her.

Will miss doing the soul train line and electric slide at the West Medford functions with you. Always an inspiration and positive example for me. Well done.

Dorothy Elizabeth inspired and motivated us all with her passion for life and her dedication to community. She lifted everyone's spirits on a daily basis, and although we will miss her terribly, that light she gave will carry us through and help us to keep her in our hearts.

I was a member of NEWMA with Dorothy. Each year at our annual retreat, she would lead us in dance.Dorotjy was an inspiration to all!My deepest sympathy to her family and close friends. She lived life with a vibrancy that was felt by everyone she touched. She is now dancing with the Lord

Dorothy Tucker was an amazing person. I remember walking by the house when she would be working in the yard. We would have conversations about dance. She was an inspiration to all. Condolences to the family. From Marcia Jackson

From afar, I send love and condolences to Dorothy Elizabeth's family and friends. I feel blessed to have danced with Dorothy Elizabeth these past 10 years. She was the embodiment of grace and wisdom, generously sharing both up until the end. I will miss you greatly, but you will live on in my dancing, loving spirit.
