Dorothy C. Umpleby

It was always very nice seeing Dot and her daughter Lynn play bridge at the Ann Arbor Women's City Club. She was so proud to have her in town. She did love to play cards at the city club and when she broke her hip the first time and came back walking in with her walker I remember the city club members clapped for her return. She wanted to play bridge so very much but it was hard on her the last year but she came always on Thursdays to play because it was a smaller group but know her heart...

Dot Umpleby was a wonderful woman. We were pleased to know her.
